Ongoing care is generally needed when a brain injury trauma occurs and extensive testing and reevaluation can be necessary. The full effects of a brain injury trauma may not be fully ascertained at first and the long-time effects can only be fully known after a certain amount of time. Some types of trauma can never be fully reversed although there are many medical procedures that can alleviate a lot of the symptoms.
